Can everyone go?

The 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is set to take place in Dubai, from November 30 to December 12, 2023. 

This global gathering will bring together world leaders, experts, and activists to discuss and address the pressing issue of climate change. 

But did you knew that COP28 has an open-to-the-public space (the Green zone) at the Expo site? So yes , even if you are not a delegate, do not work in the field of sustainable development or in an NGOs...you are still welcome! Everyone is welcome to attend the COP28!

During our visit we will be able to immerse ourself in the world of sustainability by attending workshops, presentations, and interactive exhibits. It will allows us to gain a deeper understanding of climate change, explore innovative solutions, and also engage with experts!

And because we all have a voice to be heard, we can participate in discussions and forums. Yes, we call all share our perspectives, insights, and experiences on addressing climate change.

Prepare your visit in advance

The expo site is huuuuuge and there is so many activities, conferences, forums to attend. So be sure to be ready here are some recommendations : 

  • Plan your schedule in advance. Check the calendar of activities prior to your arrival, even if you walk fast and are super efficient ;) you wont be able to see it all in one day, so priories what is more important for you to see!   • Consider using the metro and be patient . Traffic can be heavy, especially during peak hours. Metro is a convenient and affordable way to attend the Expo, but might be packed as well.
  • Wear comfortable shoes. You'll be doing a lot of walking!
  • Bring a reusable water bottle. You will find the DubaiCan stations all over the Expo site to refill your bottle.
  • Be prepared for long lines. COP28 is a popular event. Be prepared for long lines at security checkpoints, food vendors, and restrooms
